Berlin Cathedral Tour

The running tour that Mike took me on was not only one of the top highlights for my weekend in Berlin, but also for my month-long stay in Germany!

Mike is super informative and his interesting stories are the perfect compliment to running through this beautiful city. Mike is uber-friendly and you'll quickly be laughing with him like he's an old friend.

I went on later tours with other groups and their information paled in comparison to what Mike had told me about. I can honestly say I feel like I saw the most beautiful parts of Berlin and learned more about them than I could have any other way - all while doing one of my favorite things in the world!

And as a local Mike can give you all sorts of insider tips. My favorite - the suggestion to come out to the "Fun Run" the next day - a "race" that was absolutely magical.

10K City Tour

This was a fantastic way to see the city. My guide Beate new the sites and history and was able to teach me a lot during our run.

I enjoyed the tour and have recommeded it to my running friends.

The perfect way to experience the city!

How far do you really want to walk? And do you really want to get on a cramped bus to get around central Berlin? Well, jogging seems a real alternative to both. And when you need not worry about finding your way around and get personal attention from your guide it’s perfect. I booked the tour ahead and it was worked out specifically around my interests and the distance an duration I wanted.

Beate met me at the agreed location and we took off to an extended jog at a relaxed pace. It was great experiencing a number of sights from foot level, when you experience not only how things look but also how it feels and smells, a very different experience. Beate not only pointed out the sights but also gave a lot of background information and history. The most interesting piece for me was to learn how a Berliner experienced the city’s turbulent history. Extending the tour was not a problem and we ended up with a three hour tour.

It is a superb experience, highly recommended.

Festival of Lights Running Tour Berlin

This weekend my husband and I have been in Berlin. I found out beforehand that there would be the Festival of Lights while we were there so I thought it might be fun to have a running tour in the evening to see the lights! I found a fantastic running tour, it was a special one for the festival.

Mike is a fantastic guide and even though I was the only one on the tour that didn't understand German he was happy to translate for me, even asking me to run up front with him. I enjoyed this tour so much and wish I had done it when we first arrived in Berlin as Mike told us so much information about the city and the best places to eat etc.

I will definitely do a running tour whenever I travel now as it's a great way to see a city and have fun at the same time :).

Mike's SightRunning Tour is fantastic! Highly Recommended!

The tour was fantastic. Mike took me on a nice tour through Berlin. He was very informative and made the tour very entertaining with some quirky information about Berlin, it's history and the people. He also managed to take lots of pictures of me and the sights and posted them on a webpage, which I can share among my own family and friends. All the logistics of the tour were well organized, starting from the meeting point, to the tour, to the finish.

I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Berlin and look forward to meeting Mike for another tour in the near future.

Different, sporty and informative.

I had a wonderful time seeing Berlin's main sights by jogging with Mike through the City Centre. Mike allowed me to specify my interests after which he put together a route which might suit me. As a qualified trainer Mike knows how to pace his tours well for those new runners like myself, who perhaps don't sprint around the place. Because the commentary Mike offered was so interesting, time flew by and before I knew it I had jogged 13 km and seen beautiful Berlin. Included in the trip was also my own personal digital photo gallery so that friends and family alike could share and enjoy my experience afterward as well. Great idea:it's different, sporty and educational.

Don't think twice, just do it! Muriel !

A time well spent

My friend and I live in different parts of the world and only have very few opportunities to meet once a year. Our common passion is running and sightseeing, so before meeting up in Berlin I had found Mike's sightrunning on the internet and made an appointment for a nighttime run. Our guided tour started at Brandenburger Tor and what a perfect tour seeing the night slowly lower itself over the city while seeing monuments, Tiergarden, Reichstag, the pregnant oyster, the washing machine and the dryer among lots of other sights. We had an absolutely wonderful time and were told history that we would have never gotten from a sightseeing guide. With our fully packed schedule we still managed Berlin sightseeing tour and running in a safe environment – all thanks to Mike. Lynnda and Linda
